Here are typicall games played by children in Yucatan.
PESCA PESCA
Extremely popular game among the children due to it's simplicity. You don't need any material except for a good physical condition, skill and speed
while running. It's practised by children ranging from 6 years old to 12. You can play with 2 people or more
First modality
For 2 or more participants, they choose the one who is "touching" (the one who will run after everyone). Once this guy touches someone, the touched will run after the other ones in order to touch somebody else and so on.
Second modality
You need two teams with the same number of people and then the touching team will be selected randomly. When the signal is given, the touching team will be running after the other team in order to touch them. Once one of the runaway team is touched, it won't be moving from her place until someone of the same team touches her in order to "release" her or the game ends when all the integrants of the fleeing team are touched.
CAZA VENADO (Deer Hunt)
Very similar to the baseball game, it has two modalities as well. It is udes a rubber ball of medium size. The outs are made by throwing the ball to the running player. Once a team achieve 10 runs, the game is over. There are only 4 players on each team, the pitcher, one in the first line, anther one on the second and the last one between the first and second line, behindthe pitcher. You will need a baseball bat or a long enough stick, the rubber ball, three or four plates for the bases and cal or chalk for the lines on the floor
TINJOROCH'
The tinjoroch' is a traditional game the mayan children. very simple and the materials are very economic. You just need a bottle tip with a small hole in the middle and a string. you could use a small rounded-shaped wooden piece. The string is tied to the tip or wooden piece through the hole. Now yoy have to keep the round piece turning and turning as long as you can. A version in teams can be played, where each competitor will have to show it's skills by doing some tricks while the tinjoroch' is still moving.

KIMBOMBA
Can be played for 3 persons at minimal or by groups of 10 players. It is needed a wooden piece of 10cm long with conic tips and a stick of 20cm long and 3 cm of diameter.
Similar to the baseball, you just hit the wooden piece on one tip and hit it again when it raises. The one who goes further wins. If played as baseball, the outs are made if the piece is catched in mid air or before it bounces two times. If you hit it wrong, making it to hit the uuper side of the stick without sending it away, it will count as two outs.
SLINGSHOT
The Yucatecan slingshot is made with an "horqueta" branch (Y-shaped branch), a piece of leather where the stone will be put, 2 rubber bands of 15cm long and a string. Once the slingshot is done, you can play 3 different styles: bullseye (moving or fixed) and distance.
